Can I be arrested for a bad check of $1200?

I didn't got paid for a job and ended up with no money to cover the check.

Did you intend to commit fraud? (i.e. did you knowingly or intentionally write a bad check?) Fraud is crime, but simply being caught w/out the funds to cover a check is not.
