Can grandmother have power attorney to remove and care for grandchild from his father
me and my husband are about to file for divorce we share a son together and i need to leave state for a few months for a college course i want to know if i can leave my mother with power of attorny to have every right to remove my son from his father if he is not taking care of properly and keep him till i make it home promptly

Your husband's rights to his child are superior to your mother's -- even if you grant your mother power of attorney. Her rights are not superior to his. If you are that concerned about your child, then you should not be leaving your child to attend school. You can take your child with you (though dad could file for divorce and request return of his child to Ohio and the marital residence which could be granted) or you can decide to attend college in Ohio near where you are living now.
