CAN ANYTHING BE DONE ABOUT THIS DEALER NOT WANTING TO REPLACE PARTS FOR MY CAR AFTER THEY PUT THEM ON AND THEY ARE DEFECTIVE?

Question Details:

I have a car and in February of this year I took it into a dealership to have the rotors and pads replaced. Immediately after they started making noise so I took the car back to the dealer 5 time since then. I have all of the documents showing this. Twice they shaved my rotors and they claim they just don't know what else to do nor do they want to replace the parts to see if they where just defective. My car still makes noise and I don't want to go back again without legal advise about handling it. Can you help please!

You should take the car to another mechanic, whether it's a different dealer or an independent garage.  Explain the history, but just talk about "the other mechanic," without saying who or where.

If the new mechanic solves the problem, and is willing to go to court with you to explain what the first dealer did wrong, you might be able to sue for the cost of the first dealer's unsuccessful repair efforts.  Suing without the new mechanic's testimony would be possible, but more difficult, and how much detail the new mechanic put into his final bill might make a difference.
