Can a soccer organization refuse to refund money if the player never attended the camp and no where on the site or on papers does it say "no refunds"?
Question Details: My daugher joined a select soccer team specifically for a coach, but was unable to attend practices due to a scheduling conflict. The coach left prior to the first game, so my daughter no longer wanted to play for the team. I sent an email to the director requesting a refund since my daughter got absolutely nothing from this team, not even a t-shirt, and was told it is a "no refund" organization. Nowhere on the website or registration papers does it state this. When I asked the director where I might find this statement, he did not reply to my email.
You can sue them in small claims court in the county where the team is based out of.
