can a judgment holder in New York seize a leased car?
Question Details: I have a judgement of about $9900 from June of 2005 against me. They have threatened that they can take away my car. I lease the car, so don't own it. Logically they shouldn't be able to take away a car that I don't own. Is that right? Thanks.

They can only seize property that you legally own.
