Can a Felon sell insurance in NJ?
Can someone that plead guilty to 1 count of wire fraud get licensed in NJ to sell property and casualty insurance?

I think it's pretty unlikely.  Wire fraud is a crime of dishonesty, and an insurance agent has to be trusted to handle other people's money.  You can count on the license application asking about your criminal record, and you'll have to be honest (or, when the government finds out about your record, and they will, any license you get will be pulled for fraud).

If it was a long time ago, and you have a work history since then that shows you're trustworthy, and no subsequent convictions, you just might be able to get that license, but I'd say it's still a long shot.
