A few some states provide for removel (ie "expungment") of a felony conviction from your criminal record; the federal government however does not.  The only way to get a federal felony conviction removed from your record is to get a Presidential Pardon.  And as you can imagine, this is near to impossible.  There are companies out there that will tell claim that for a "modest fee" they can get you one but don't be fooled; they are scam artists.

If you want to pursue such a pardon you can do it yourself, or with the help of a licensed attorney.  Here is a link to a site that wil explain and help get you started: http://www.justice.gov/pardon/
