I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law.  Usually, primary vehicles are exempt from being executed on.  The creditor may however, garnish your wages at work and take money out of your bank account.  If you think that the creditor will do this then you may want to think about bankruptcy.  I suggest consulting with an lawyer befoe filing.
