Can one or more creditors freeze your checking account or pension so that you cannot not access any of your funds?

Bankruptcy Law Answers

If the creditor has a judgment, the creditor can "freeze" your checking account with what is sometimes still called a writ of attachment.  It's not usually possible to attach a pension directly, but the creditor can use the judgment to go after the money after it's paid from the pension to the debtor.
