Under the laws of all states in this country, you are solely responsible for rent owed with respect to the trailer that you bought from the date that legal title to the unit transferred into your name assuming rent is an issue for the item.

Meaning, unless the written contract for the purchase of the trailer states otherwise, you are not responsible for rent owed on the lot where the trailer sits when the trailer was not in your name. After all, you did not have a rental agreement with the landlord when you did not own the trailer?
