Being sued for credit card debt. Don't have job,own home or assets. Should i go to court? Can they garnish husbands wages? Card is in my name only.

Bankruptcy Law Answers

Your husband's wages cannot be garnished if the card is solely in your name.  However, they can garnish your bank account or a joint bank account; so you will want to close or at least remove your husband's name. 

Note:  Once they get a judgement they may not immediately go after any accounts, but sooner or later they will.  Keep this in mind when deciding how much money, if any, you want to keep in such accounts.
