Employment and Labor Law Answers

Employment relationships are typically what is known as "at will".  So you can work for an employer, or not, your choice. In turn, the employer can hire or fire someone for any reason or no reason whatsoever.  Exceptions would be if there is an employment contract or a union agreementto the contrary.

Additionally,  if discrimination is a factor (there can be no termination for reasons of race, religion, age, disability, sex, national origin).  If you think that discrimination may apply in your case then you need to speak with an employment law attorney in your area.
