Car accident and no information exchanged or police report filed.
Question Details:
Backing out of a spot a driver hits somebody else's car (that driver is drunk). They don't take info (tag, insurance, license), nor is a police report filed. What can they do?
Do you mean the person hit was a drunk driver? If the drunk driver didn't take down information of the person who hit him, the driver who was at fault initially must contact or should contact his own insurance company. If the person hit a drunk driver, was it obvious the person was drunk? If so, how come the police were not called?
If the drunk driver doesn't have any information, and there is no way to check (i.e., review video of the area if security cameras were around), then I am not sure if there would be a way for the drunk driver to obtain the information of the other driver and vehicle.
