Auto accident driver/insured died passenger alive but in icu
Question Details: Ther is full coverage on the vehicle the driver/insured died, and was at fault for accident. The passenger is hurt badly. Can they sue the estate or just the insurance co?

I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law. the people injured as a result of the at fault driver will go after the insurance policy in place on the driver at fault. the insurance company steps in and pays. if the policy is not enough, any money left in the estate should be paid to you.
