Are they trying to fire me because I am standing up for myself?

Question Details: I told my direct manager and his manager that the employees in the store were harrassing me and I wanted a transfer. They stated that no one likes me in the store and I should change the way I approach everyone. Before I left for vacation this past week their were rumors that I was going to get fired. I have honestly not done anything I just want to get out of that location and they are making it very hard by trying to cover things up. What can I do?

Employment and Labor Law Answers

That's a difficult question to answer without knowing the types of harassment you experienced -- and to what degree.  Assuming that there is harassment which can be addressed by the law, then you should speak with an attorney to go over everything that happened in the store and when.  You also might have a retaliation case against the employer if they terminate you for complaining about the harassment.
