Auto Accidents Law Answers

Once a child reaches age 18 they are of "majority age".  That is, they are now adults under the law and responsible for their own actions.  The only way a parent could be held liable for an accident at this point is if they knowingly let their childdrive their while intoxicated or otherwise impaired.

Note:  This holds true for anybody that they may give their car to under such circumstances; not just their child.
