Court cases are a matter of public record.  Using the computer at the federal court, look in either the plaintiff or defendant index if it is a civil case.  After you locate the name of either the plaintiff or defendant and complete name of the case, you will then have the case number.  Once you know the case number and name of the case, you can obtain the file from the court clerk.

If it is a criminal case, look for the name of the defendant in the defendant index and obtain the case number.  Again, with the name of the case and case number, you can obtain the file from the court clerk.
