Would disussing the particulars of a pending case with someone not involved in he case be unethical on the part of the DA and constitute grounds for dismissal of the charges?
Question Details: An arrest has been made. The accused is awaiting a preliminary hearing. The DA has discussed the case with a neighbor of the accused and this neighbor informed relatives of the accused of these discussions.
