Marital debt

Am I responsible for debt my husband accrued whiled married but w/out my knowledge?

It depends sometimes if the debt has no benefit to the community, he may be held liable for it.  Also, if there are no community assets to be disposed of by the court, the debt can be allocated to one spouse he they are the higher earner or on equitable grounds.
