aids/hiv 80 yr old self employed social security or disability benefits

Question Details: can a person qualify for social security or disability or medicare as a 60 year old hiv/aids patient who is self employed and has some financial investments - but is unable to work and is uninsured?

Insurance Law Law Answers

If you are disabled then you can collect Social Security Disability.  Age has nothing to do with it nor does self-employment (as long as you paid taxes).  Here's a link to a site that will explain things further; I think you will find it to be of help:  http://www.ssa.gov/disability/
