I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law.  Unfortunately, your payment will be the blue book value of your car.  you can use the payments to pay the remianing balance of the loan and then use the remaining money as a down payment on a new car or a lease.  I suggest filing a lawsuit for pain and suffering, especially if you went to the hospital as you may be able to recover more money than just damages to the car.  I would consult with a lawyer here asap.
