Question: Criminal Defense - New Jersey

A very harmful statement was posted in a website (Facebook) regarding my family. Can I file a harrassment charge?

A family member made a very damaging statement about my husband on Facebook. We live in a small community where we are well known. This statement will now affect my 10-year old son also. Can I file a harrassment charge?

Speak with the police department and/or the municipal prosecutor in your town. You have options in terms of a civil lawsuit, as well.
