Auto Accidents Law Answers

I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law.  people that have trees in their yard have a duty of care to their neighbors to keep the trees in a safe contdition in which the branches will not fall due to decay or overgrowth and damage property.  if the branches fell due to their failure to maintain the trees, i suggest that you aks them to compensate you for the damages.  if they refuse to compensate you, file a small claims complaint in court for the damages.  however, before you talk to your neighbor, take pictures of the trees so you can bring them to court if no settlement/amicable resolution is reached.
