4th DUI

Question Details: Ten years ago my license was revoked for 4th offense DUI in fl.. I did all necessary jail time to to take care of fines probation and schools. I have sense then moved to GA. Am I eligible for a license here or no?

Probably not.  There is a reason your license was taken from you -- 4 DUIs???>> You could have killed someone.  Your criminal record doesn't suddenly disappear.  If you have an issue, try www.attorneypages.combut I don't know if you would qualify for expungement or sealing of your record.

I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law.   The revocation is going to carry over to GA as the DMV is going to run your name through the data base and it is likely going to find out about the revocation.  The revocation in one state generally applies equally to the others.  If the DMV overlooks this, then more power to you.  I suggest that you apply for the license and see what happens.  Just do not get your hopes up.
